Silver Award

Silver Arts Award

Challenge yourself and build your creativity

Through the Silver Arts Award, you’ll develop your arts skills and understanding, lead activities in the art form of your choice, and achieve a Level 2 qualification.

Like all Arts Awards, the Silver Award is flexible enough to fit into your existing studies or other commitments, but in-depth enough for you to achieve a meaningful qualification.

Your success will show colleges and employers that you’ve made real progress in your art form, improved your understanding of the arts and developed arts leadership skills.

To achieve a Silver Arts Award you complete 2 units:

Arts Practice – a challenge you set yourself within your chosen art form, plus an exploration of arts events and arts opportunities within your community.

More

Arts Leadership – planning and delivering an arts project, taking responsibility for a specific aspect and communicating effectively.

More

You create your own portfolio to gain the Silver Award. Pick your own style and format – diary style, video, online, slide show presentation, or something different altogether, if you and your adviser feel it works for you.

There are no entry requirements or set time limit. It will take you around 60 hours to complete your Silver Award.
